Welcome to Vintage, a format that significantly rewards deckbuilding and play skill. In these videos I go over my StoneBlade deck, which revolves around two combos: Stoneforge Mystic + Batterskull, and Deceiver Exarch + Splinter Twin. Shelled around a blue cantrip and permission engine, these two combos can help battle the Monastery Mentor induced metagame by using efficient equipment capable to ending the game quickly, or merely winning on the spot with your red enchantment. The crux of the deck, Gush, allows the deck to function in a way that it couldn’t in Standard nor Modern, as it adds resources to your arsenal in a very flexible and efficient manner.
