You may notice something a little different about this week. No more Hour of Devastation!
We were lucky enough to get a crack at the Modern Cube yet again and I didn’t let that go to waste. Cube only comes by once in a while, so we want to make sure to maximize how much we can learn from it; Which is why I asked someone with no Magic experience to pick half the cards for me! Mostly, I learned that having uninformed people make your picks probably just means your deck is a mess – but that you’ll have a blast doing it! It did highlight the need to pick up lands in Cube early and often, especially if you’re going to make greedy picks. Ultimately though, this week was all about fun.
